Yes I googled it got a little information. Basically to send 300,000 worth of t shirts back to Australia I had to pay a 900,000 tariff then another 300,000 for shipping as their were in new condition. Some formula to do with USA it's iike 70something perfect tax. I asked the bloke at JNE, if it's a government tax but he just said "sir it's automatically in my computer exepnsive huh?"Why? I realise there are slower/cheaper methods but I suspect this tax/tarrif on new goods in unavoidable.Anyone shed some light please? Why it's so high is mainly what I want to know.
