Hey, trying to be brief, have villa in Medewi, ive had it with California, and seeing what options there are for entering Bali domestically from an airport currently open to Bali. I work remotely and can do quarantine. Have lawyer and helper and Indonesian girlfriend there. Last there for a month in February. Rather not marry the girlfriend to gain entry. Any help? Thanks.

You need to apply for a social or business visa to enter Indonesia via Jakarta and transfer as a domestic tourist to Bali from what I understand. I believe if you have a negative PCR covit test in your possession that is no more than 7 days old you may avoid quarantine altogether. There is currently no visa on arrival or tourist visa due to pandemic.Source: local travel agent and someone very helpful from here.

DM me if you're interested.

Hey all, I escaped from Los Angeles! Been in Candidasa for 2 weeks while my Villa is finishing up. Have Visa, ID card and police registration certificate. Travel from California was not complicated. No quarantine, just a PCR swab test certificate got me here. Went LAX to Seoul, South Korea, to Jakarta, to Denpasar. A very different Bali since my last visit in February and March.Have my International Drivers Permit and I'm looking for a motorcycle in the range of 500 cc to 750 cc.Just dropped in to thank you guys for your help. Yes, I fucked up already and I'm in love with a beautiful Indonesian woman.

Not hard to fall in love with an Indonesian woman...Not sure why you would want such a big motorbike . The Balinese woman don't care what size your bike is...A decent Yamaha NMax or Honda PCX will get your ass everywhere fast enough and if the girlfriend weighs more than 50Kg then trade her for a lighter one.CheersSo wishing I was backKen

I blog a lot.

I would only add to this that all the people that I've know to buy a PCX have regretted it once they get on an NMax. They are simply the best bike around, bar none. Go for the Non - abs, the ones with abs have issues down the line and their replacement is stupid expensive - my whole bike cost 28juta now they want 7 for a replacement ABS valve. So I ride without.

I'll keep looking, I'm thinking a Kawasaki Versys 650, or a Honda CBX 500. I've got one of each I'm looking to buy but they are pricey here versus the US.

It sounds very exciting but driving a touring bike around Bali for your day to day needs is not really necessary. I'd consider getting an Nmax in addition to your touring bike for that occasional long adventure

I take for 1 month tours - 2 shorts (gave up on undies years ago - to fecking hot) 3 - 5 shirts (depending on what's not at the laundry when I go) sandals (usually on feet) and med kit. Job done. Now if you need to take a douche bag, make up kit, undies for those special occasions and full fat yogurt for when you get Thrush then perhaps get a side car too but you will pay a fecking fortune to get that 600 cc rocket over here and be a magnet for every local cop needing to better his monthly stipend, cause if no one has told you yet they are fecking illegal here - max allowable under Indo law is 250cc. Anything above that and they will find you (Liam Nelson voice) and make you pay.

I've got camera equipment and working on a website www.travelwithneal.com and need a computer with me .I travel light and leave my douche bag at home when traveling.so just need small bags. I'm in Candidasa for a month with a small backpack and that is all. You fuckers are making sense to me though so again, thanks, mates.
