What this guy said about treating Covid, seemed to make a lot of sense. His basic argument is:As the world grapples with the lasting impact of COVID-19, many look to a vaccine as our best hope for recovery. But a vaccine could take a year or more to develop and mass produce. And currently, clinicians only give COVID-19 treatments to patients who are hospitalized and very ill. There are a number of existing drugs which, if given early, have the potential to stop the virus from replicating before it causes severe symptoms, which saves lives and reduces the toll on our healthcare system - and our communities. This is the most urgent and important research we can do today. And until now, nobody was doing it.
You can read more here: https://www.treatearly.org/

Ok watched it and it was interesting. Ummm looked up the drugs recommended and they were both in the news back in March as a potential cure/treatment and being tested in both Germany and Japan - what has happened since? So I'm a bit dubious about the "rich guy" offering to repay any donations to his research as it's the "only one" ... Don't mean to appear cynical, but "MAY" help treatment and "HAVE POTENTIAL" are too "iffy" compared to the greater certainty of a vaccine. We all view these developments through our own subjective and selfish eyes as we evaluate these pursuits, and to consider partial remedies without restricting the emphasis on a vaccine is certainly no sin.
