Dear Friends hope you are doing good and are healthy! I need an advice from someone who went thru this and found a solution :My friend is a Local, he has a " Guesthouse " with 10 Rooms.2 Buildings splited in 4 and in 6 Rooms on 1 Land:1 room : office1 room : Warehouse8 Rooms each 16 sqm: for rent.Location: behind sky gardenLandsize: 3 AreBefore he rent it to locals now he wants to get a license for Renting to Tourists.But we know that pondok wisata only possible for 5 rooms.You guys have any ideas ways and estimated costs to get the right license for him ?Or a good strategy for this case ( i am sure they ve been many cases like this and some could been solved with the right solutions)Thank you in AdvancedHis Building exists since 45 years

I know some places use a Kos license, but that is probably not legit long term. The only other option is Melati hotel licence, but that could be difficult with the size of the land. Maybe an agent can propose a more "creative" solution.

Yes, first of a thank you very much for xour answer.I just came from 2 different lawyers. The one said " you can get a kos2uan ( koskosan) license for also daily rent and renting for foreignersThe other one said " impossible to rebt with a koskosan license to Foreigners " So am there where i started :)

I believe that it is a local regulation in Badung that foreigners can't stay in a Kos. I wonder if it would be possible to have two separate PW?
