Enquiry re visitor visa for AuI have an Indo girlfriend that I want to bring to Aus short term, sponsored. Can anyone advise if the process is easier done here by me, having her consent. Or for her to do over there.

Your girlfriend needs to apply for it in Indonesia. She should show also evidence of employment and any other ties in Indonesia, otherwise they will be worried she won't return.
