Hi EveryoneGlad I found this group. Am gathering info about everything Bali. Plan to come back in June or July. Was here for a month in 2000 and my heart had found home. Am looking for a small 2 bedroom villa off the beaten path. Like forest, nature, and tradition. not sure what area to settle into. A bit about me, am retired, single, active mind, dealing with the 70 year old body. Want some adventure while I still can get around haha. . Plan on taking lots of photos. Was stationed in Subic Bay. Good luck. Suggest you rent a small place centrally (Ubud) and use your motorscooter to spend quality time touring around the island and seeing it for yourself. Talk is cheap and there are about 10 requests identical to yours on a daily basis in the various FB and other forums.
