OK so since you all keep promoting the hell out of tokopedia I finally took the plunge and used it, now I have an order sitting unconfirmed for 24 hours already, what happens if the seller just doesn't come online? I already paid via BCA will the money just bounce back in to my account?

it's been marked as confirmed now, around 30 hours after order, definitely well below ebay standard, I'm guessing it won't arrive before tomorrow. In case you didn't know, there is a button bottom right hand corner for english, although it still fails to translate some essential words. Don't think I will use again just due to the long time frame. But agreed cheap. If you are in Jakarta seems to be a lot more options though...

I've used it lots and have never had to cancel anything so no idea about payback. Delivery can be a bit of an issue the first couple of times until the various delivery companies learn where you live - possibly only a problem if you live in the jungle like I do...

Nope quite the opposite of the jungle smack bang in the middle of Denpesar. Saying it's shipped now I'm just a little confused as to what day it will actually come, luckily I don't have too many plans.

You could always call the delivery company and arrange to pick it up or when they will deliver.

Well my partner went to J&T express (the assigned courier company) it had come from Jakarta (although the seller listed Denpasar) and just sat in the office all day yesterday and this morning. So cheers to MarkIT for the suggestion.

To answer your first question, the money stays with Tokopedia and is only transferred to the seller when you confirm you have received it and all is OK. We use J&T extensively and often pick up from their office. Their on-line tracking works - the tracking number is given to you when the order is shipped. Typically you can see when it[LIST][*]leaves the seller[*]arrives at the Jakarta gateway (airport I guess)[/LIST]*arrive Bali gateway*is delivered to the Bali location (Peliatan for us)
