kipem is valid for 3 months, it is now not compulsory..ditto for surat lapor diri for white people...but kipem is required for immigration purposes,loans and other stuff

As far as I understand things, kipem is now cancelled in bali as from december 2017 , for the kitap process imm only accept a ktp bali , otherwise the process must take place at the imm office of the ktp.[/QUOTE]Well, be that as it may, when we presented documents for Kitap my wife was told she would have to get the local non permanent Kipem which she did and this seems to have been accepted. So we await further developments.
