Today finally did some work, actually have been busy a lot, o.a. for Sylvia from Kubu LaLang. The tropics should be relaxing but when you live here sometimes things are different. Ok had my swim, in the rain, had my afternoon nap. But that’s normal… I was invited by a privately owned Hotel school, because the students had to practice their food serving skills. The teachers wanted to know a lot from me, why I liked Bali, what I thought about tourism how to improve it, what I thought about the students and so… I brabbled away a little, and I will be invited again, they promised me. After the free food quickly to the PLTGU meeting. Heard even more horrible things about this power plant. Actually it is a 30 year old plant, that is now somewhere near Jakarta. They will rebuild it here, because there will be a new one. The engineers have calculated that because of the cooling water needed for the plant, the sea temperature in the Lovina area will rise by 5 degrees!. This will mean that the fish and coral will die! Decided to create a protesting website for the group, have to think if this will not and how it will not interfere with my stay here, it’s a political sensitive thing…. The PLTGU meeting:
