I'm always astonished the way the rest of the world finds the minutiae of mundane American life so fascinating. Mostly these stories are peopled with small-minded bigots and/or religious maniacs with horrendous life stories of neglect and brutality. Big surprise when it all goes wrong for them?!Anyone want some brutality just bring some cheese and I'm happy to slap you around a bit. Some here would also argue I've cornered the small-mindedness thing too.

I'm always astonished the way the rest of the world finds the minutiae of mundane American life so fascinating[/QUOTE]I don't know the reason why, but I suppose it's because we don't hear about these people/places in a lot of the US dominated tv/media. I was expecting it to be something like Making a Murderer but it turned out to be something quite different.
