North Bali Airport and Road Infrastructure Article The concept and visibility seems to be getting some legs. An excerpt from the article: "Hariwibowo told reporters, “The North Bali Airport project is an initiative from the private sector and does not use government funds, the investor is a Chinese company, Chang Ye Construction Group, with a cooperation value of USD 3 billion or IDR 50 trillion.” The Chinese are on the long march for world domination. As soon as they mobilize a dredge to start the artificial island, I'll be slightly more convinced.

If the Chinese spend this much money on Bali, you can be damn sure they will be the new bosses! On top of Russian, everyone had better start learning the Chinese language also. OAY VAY!

I suspect it's all a fearsome mess in China what with Ji having cleared out all other CP members that might be of any danger to him personally and that might have shared in the decision making process too. If you look at all the problems China has running at the moment it's truly terrifying: what with a demographic of about 0.5 or 0.6 children born per woman, a housing market (where the plebs have all their money invested) in free fall with entire thousand home/high rise developments being dynamited and hundreds of thousands of unsold e-cars warehoused out of site that can't be sold, world markets dropping off from buying their goodies due to similar demographics, the west (US, mostly) threatening sanctions on the stuff they can sell and last but not least Tiawan with rumblings about war and not selling them the chips only Taiwan can build. The only thing you need to worry about with China is it suddenly going down the financial sinkhole and pulling the rest of us down too.
