Markit, than you for your concern about my well being. However, I very much doubt that my Indonesian wife would approve of me chasing "brown skinned beauties". Meantime after days of trying to get a response from MNC they finally sent a technician this morning with a replacement MNC vision box. Cost $6 for the technician and took five minutes to replace and set up. Sound now restored. While waiting I had been checking out possible replacement service providers and found, like most big companies, they are very good at presenting attractive arguments to get you to sign up and pay up. However, reviews indicate that customer service with almost all of them is dreadful.
Just a thought harry , I cancelled mnc after the channel debacle , switched to streaming, many quality channels , picture and sound much better than satellite and of course cheaper .
