Had a quit "interesting" life during my stays in South Korea, Thailand (10 y), HKG (8 y). Nowadays I am retired...... and spend much more time in the kitchen than frolicking in the bed. One place to "hunt", if I was still in activity, would be the gym.... Some really cute and fit young women in there. But not sure they're looking for a 70y old pensioner. Well, a cook maybe ? Like one my ex HK Chinese g/f was boasting to her friends "I have a personal French chef at home" Have seen a certain number of "favorite" waitresses in restos and bars, that could successfully apply for the Mistress position. Remember : the Mistress belongs between the Master and the Matress !

Always was good fun bringing a newbie, first time in Asia in a gogo in Patpong, or some naughty bars in Wanchai.... Saw a few sad disasters, but got tired warning guys to make the difference between sex and feelings....

This theme is always the one that expats have to field from the newbies and tourists alike that is almost never mentioned. I can't think of the number of conversations I've had with strangers upon them learning I live here that has skated around this subject forever and left me scratching my head wondering what they fecking wanted. I now tend to watch the eyes - if they rove and follow small brown beauties more than casually I tend to diver right in with my usual delicacy "wonder who's shagging that one?". This tends to open the conversation up (with many sighs of relief) to queries on when/where/how and guarantee my next 2 beers at least. I've heard from a friend that the dark beauties here are wonderfully available if you go about it the right way and terribly tenacious when you've decided to end the frolic. I would appreciate other's experience on this matter. Please understand that if you have at some stage lost your mind and married one of them then your rationality MAY be questioned in everything you say unless you have nothing but regretful sound advise and an empty bank account to show for it, oh, and large glossy photos. We like large glossy photos... Right, lets get on: MY FRIEND said that they are best found in shops (Hardys, Galeria, or the ones where they work) and forget all the silly western shite of pretending to be interested in their opinions on anything, what they think of the weather, favorite foods. Basically all that chit-chat men think is important to leverage your way into their... You won't need it and most probably she/he won't speak more than a spatering of your language - you may find that initially a hinderance, my friend reckons that's a mistake and has learned to love those lovely silences between carnal bouts that aren't used for cleaning up the splashes. Generally a great deal of interest is supposedly generated by the size, weight, fullness of your wallet in the possible conjugular buddy you have your evil eye on and that is to some extent true (I'm told) but is absolutely not the only thing. (sorry will get a bit more serious now) Many of the girls/boys have had an absolutely horrific life in comparison to ours and view a connection with a foreigner as the way to a nice life and they are quite willing to put up with a lot of trouble (and to be frank- ugliness, my friend is really not an Adonis) to get one. I think that's a good enough start to see who is interested. More to follow.

I remember the old days on Koh Phangan for the full moon parties. All the newbies would get plastered and think the lady boys were the cats meow! I'm sure when they woke up without their wallets and passports they regretted it! Those were the days before roads there and you could get a bag of weed for 5 baht and sit at the restaurants on the beach and smoke, drink Singha, and watch American movies. That all stopped when the Israeli's started coming and brought Heroin! Once a few tourists woke up dead, the cops showed up and put a stop to all the easy days at the beach? They did the same in India. Wherever there was a nice mellow place like Pushkar or Manali, where you could get some Charas enjoy it and drink Chai. The Israel's came and brought the Heroin and idiots started dying, so of course the cops came and ending the good times. I felt sorry for them. Having all of them forced into military duty, men and women, they could only go to Thailand and India for their R+R. Most of them were rude and cheap and pissed the locals off. I remember hearing them saying Oh! I hate those Fecking Israel's! Sorry, I got side tracked there remembering when coming here was fresh and nice, and the locals gave you a fair price for food, and rooms. There wasn't so much corruption and the desire to rip off the newbies. But I don't blame the locals seeing someone come here with a pocket full of money and wanting some of it, and seeing the newbies so naive to the life over here. But that doesn't mean the locals had to cheat the ignorant tourist! Temptation is a Bitch and easy to fall for the trap to rob and cheat. It is a Human problem all over the World. But I've learned Karma is a Bitch and will bite you in the Ass!

I was always surprised by that too. I mean young men are really only led by the small head and it's only with the passage of time and exposure to women that one "learns" that women insist on the odd emotion now and again. Then we get to SE Asia and it all looks different doesn't it? More honest and a much healthier approach to boy/girl relationships - I find the locals have probably the most adult attitude towards sex of any people I've met anywhere. But as you say, try explaining that to newbies. Perhaps that's what this post is about...
