Can one of you guys give me whatever information you might have regarding house and content insurance. (s it an available item here on the island and if so what sort of premiums are asked for.

Thanks mate. Don't need the volcano and tsunami cover. We're not near enough to either to be affected if that should occur at least it would need to be pretty catastrophic for it to affect us I think. Can you let me have a contact for Allianz please.

Irrespective of where you are in Bali, earthquake cover is a must. Unless your home is made of wood or has a tinder box alang-alang roof, earthquake damage is the thing most likely to ruin your house (especially if you didn't build it yourself and ensure adequate foundations down to the bedrock).
