Thank you Jimbo and friends! And a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone here as well!
I freely forgive all who have in any way hurt me and and sincerely ask your forgiveness in return.
Jimbo, what a great way to start a new year!
My sister posted this at vPraise but I don't think she would mind if I shared it with my friends here...
Merry Christmas everyone!
Best regards,

I’m spending the holidays with my family this year. As I was flying home on one of the three planes it took to get me from one side of the country to the other, I attempted to make time fly more quickly by occupying myself with reading The Province, one of Vancouver’s leading newspapers. One of the articles was entitled,
" Letters to God find crack in Western Wall " ( see link at end of post).
The story goes that Israeli postal workers make several trips a year delivering letters to the Wailing Wall – letters addressed to God from trusting and hopeful senders all over the globe.
At this time of year, millions of children have been writing letters addressed to St. Nicholas. They send off their letters with a similar trust in the postal system, and with a similar hope that their prayers and wishes be answered.
It is a spirit, this time of year, unmatched by any other. No other festival, holiday, or season brings about such wide-spread fervor.
A few days prior to my trip I discussed with someone the attempts made by the media over recent years to be “politically correct” in their delivery. So, this year, for the first time, I was wished a “Merry Christmakkah!”
I will try to refrain from ridiculous politically motivated phrases, and wish you all, whatever your persuasion, be it belief in God, Buddha, or Santa Claus, all that is good in the spirit of this season. I wish you all its trust. I wish you its hope. I wish you joy. And while I’m at it, let me throw in peace on earth. We could all use a little more of that…
Guess that wraps up our first vPraise.net Christmas letter to all you members and visitors. We have enjoyed getting to know you. We hope you continue to share and learn with us as we near the start of the new year and develop further into a truly global community, growing in diversity, compassion, and understanding.
