As many of us here are much of an age and share some common likes and dislikes I'd be interested in your views on this subject. NC Officer Fired Over Controversial Facebook PostThis appears to be one cops views on some part of the US population. Please note that nowhere does he say which race/group/ethnicity he's talking about or does he say something that is illegal or for that matter wrong. Some of you may also remember a similar situation occurring in the UK a few years ago started by the NightJack blogs which coined the phrase in referring to the dole cruisers into the 3rd generation as "evil poor". My view: Live in the Facebook world, take the consequences. He has nothing to complain about, he probably sank a pint of whisky (he's a caaap !!!) and decided to let off a bit of steam. Not a good time to do that, given the circumstances. Nothing explicit, but only somebody from the planet Glarp would fail to pick up on who he was referring to. I don't agree with his punishment, but that is the way of the world these days.

The amazing thing is this guy gets fired while other police officers have shot innocent people and nothing has happened to them.
