Quest for jewellers formerly on Jl Legian

Hi everyone, I used to live in Indonesia and am now interested in returning to start a business importing jewellery/handicrafts to the UK. I used to be a big fan of a jewellery shop on Jl Legian (Seminyak end) but I can't remember its name or exact location. I'd love to track it down and see if it's still in business. Can anyone give me any clues? They were quite small and used to specialise in chunky/statement jewellery in various metals. I've attached a few examples from my collection. Thanks so much in advance

I think I know your place, Jalan Legian early 20ies? Haven't seen the shop in more than 10 years. Might have other issues though ;) haven't "been" in Kuta for 10 years. Just passing on the way to Beach Walk BUT eagerly looking left & right

perhaps not the greatest idea - on my part - but have you considered taking a virtual drive along Jl legian using google strretmaps to see if you recognise the building or even the store itself? A long shot but might work. I am assuming you have already done a google maps search for jeweler etc for the area you are looking at.

Have done what you are anticipating, and didn't work with retailers. Wouldn't you want to deal with businesses making jewelry? If you go to the village of Celuk south of Ubud you will find all kinds of manufacturers quite willing to do business with you wholesale. If you do that be certain to insist that your driver remain in the car. Otherwise he will be signaling the jeweler that he wants a commission for bringing you there. Also have business cards to authenticate yourself. Lastly if you haven't yet done so contact UK authorities and learn import duties. It will have something to do with your profit.

My wife introduced an Australian client who was vey happy with product and wholesale prices. They have about 50 work benches, plenty of parking. You might happily spend a day just looking around if you have an interest in jewellery, stones, mineral specimens and fabricating.
