Here's a story fresh from last night - 03 SEP 2016.Givens:I am in a Hotel on Bali for a few nights. I was quite tired upon arrival. There are loads of Chinese in this Hotel at the moment.Event:OK - got here, got a Club sandwich, went through a process to get Outlook to work properly on this Network (allow lesser tasks to run) then felt like a nap.It was around 9pm when I was awoken by a heavy banging sound. I thought it was on next door's door. A female voice was calling out something that sounded like 'Now Hu'. Over and over. I realized it was my door so I called out to 'get lost'. Nope, there was a second wave of this banging on my door, more 'Now Hu' and I thought it's now me! I tried to ignore it. Then a third wave. I thought 'Call Security or take a punt and get rid of this myself'. I took the latter action, turned on a light and went to the door and pigeon-holed someone out there. I opened the door and said 'You have got the WRONG ROOM'. This Chinese woman produced a silly smile and I looked her up and down. She was in a pair of long Pyjamas and I'd give her at least a 9/10. Then I added 'but you are nice looking', closed the door and the banging on my door stopped. However, this person went to another room and started to harass them. There was a lot of door slamming, yelling, etc. When I see this type of behavior I think bi-polaric loss of control. Like who else is going to disturb a Hotel in this manner without any regard. She was not POLISI. The noise continued for another hour and eventually died down. That's the end of the story and I wondered if I would see her at breakfast, which is difficult because loads of them have 'the same physical profile'. So far, so good.Ahhh Bali. Just when you think everything is going OK here, sometimes it isn't.

Welcome to Indonesia... try having a local dreamboat (in his opinion anyway) banging on yer hotel door in the middle of the night assuming because you are white (ish), female, alone and have a tattoo, you must be available for s3x. I need write a report some day titled 'Tazer and testicles, do they really enjoy each other's company?'

Corrupt , loud , eat like pigs ,I wondered why the table cloths were plastic because at the end of the meal the food was all over the table with some on my legs and feet ! , never mind the spitting ,lack of honesty etc etc .

Is this the Bali forum or the anti-Chinese forum? Yes, there are lots of ugly, loud mouthed, corrupt eat like pigs Australians... Oops, I mean Americans, .... Oops, I mean Poms.... Oops I mean Germans... Oops I mean Japanese.... Oops. I mean Aborigines... Oops, I mean Javanese.... Oops. French... ohh bugger, I finally got it... Chinese. It is so easy to carry around a bunch of preconceptions about people and generalize. And undoubtedly there are behaviours that are more prominent in some groups or races than others that lead us to expect this to be typical of every member of that group or race. But this is at the heart of racism and prejudice. Unless we allow that the next individual we meet may not conform to the stereotype of his or her group then we are displaying classic prejudice. There is a story of Professor Wang Gangwu who went to Canberra in 1968to take up the position of Professor of Far Eastern History in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS) at Australian National University (ANU) where he later served as Director of RSPAS. The Professor was to be guest speaker at a dinner with the usual preamble of speakers and as he was having dinner the lady sitting next to him said, "You likee soupee?"The Professor was then called upon to speak and did so in his usual brilliant and erudite manner. When he went back to his table he turned to the woman next to him and said, "You likee speechee?"

You know you have to love them and hate them at the same time, many of them come here to usa in particular Nyc,they live like 8 or 10 of them in an apt for 2,but their reasons for being here are quite interesting, most do it only for a couple of yrs and send every penny home,to build a house or send their kids to university,,you have to love them for that,,,on the other hand they price work at half every other contractors price and thats where the hate comes in,I also worked with a couple of hundred of them in Libya many years ago,yes their eating habits are quite bad,but in general they work hard,I was told the spitting is because the cooks grind even the bones into the food,so they are spitting small fragments of bones ,,true or false ,i dont know,

All this reminds me that when our notorious if not infamous Senator Pauline Hanson first entered the Australian parliament she devoted her maiden speech to warning that the Chinese were taking over Australia and the Aborigines were getting extra assistance and that wasn't fair. (Never mind the Aborigines have long been the most disadvantaged ethnic group in the country.)Ms Hanson continued with her tirades against migrants and at one stage she said she was so fed up with all the migrants coming into the country she was going to live in London. Then she changed her mind. Maybe someone pointed out that London has perhaps the largest percentage of migrants than almost any other country in the world.I wonder if there are other interplanetary creatures out there scratching their heads and wondering what is wrong with us.
