Converting Kitas to Spouse Kitas

Ok gents I need your sage advice. I recently married my Indonesian wife and now need to sort out how to change my basic Kitas to a Spouse Kitas. What is the best (cheapest) way to go about it. I'm quite sure if I use the same agent that I used for my basic Kitas it will cost me an arm and a leg. Is there any value in going to Immigration to get the answers I need, Any help you could give will be great. Thanks

What do you mean by 'basic Kitas'? Retirement? Initially, I was using an agent when I moved to Bali, but eventually, we just started doing everything ourselves. Or I should say, my wife just everything and I occasionally went in for photos/fingerprints. I found immigration to be quite helpful and you can go in there and they will tell you all of the documents you need. You need to give the same documents to an agent, so there is no difference. They may come to your house for an interview, so it is good to make sure you can remember dates, like your anniversary and so on. Agree: - My wife is my 'agent' and she is set up with printer/scanner at home to save time The best advise is to meet up at immigration office with your wife: - Immigration will explain the application process, duration of the process and fees to be paid - Immigration will provide a folder with application forms and list of supporting documents (copies) that needs to be attached to application It should be possible with a simple transfer of sponsor ship from your company to your wife, i.e. avoid to cancel existing KITAS and then start new application process for spouse sponsored KITAS as that is cumbersome and more expensive.
