Do l open an Indo bank account

Hi, when l move there is it worth opening a Commonwealth bank account in Bali or say a BNI account or just use my Westpac debit card? Thanks.

I can give you a contact to open an Indo bank account. I would recommend you open a multi currency account. I use Permata for day to day stuff and have a OCBC multicurrency account for investment and other transactions. PM me if you want the contact.

Not really necessary as Wise has multicurrency accounts and better exchange rates than the Indo Bank. I always get multicurrrency payments then convert them on Wise to IDR and transfer that to my Indo account.
