This week yes it has been everyday, I've been monitoring it. Most of the public type of programs in Bali get their stock from donations and it's get what their given type thing, I delved pretty deeply in to the topic this last week. Mrs got her first shot of Moderna out in Ababi the other day if that's of interest to you? But I have no idea if bule can their hands on it.

She calls it Ababi Village when she goes out there to her grandmas place which is like a farm with many Balinese staying and chickens everywhere. Whenever she calls me from there all I hear is chickens actually. I've never actually been I just know it's near Karangesm. Slang for Ababi village. I'm as lost as you btw but that is where she got the moderna jab.

thought this worth sharing: BaliMed hospital in North Denpasar is offering the (AZ) vaccine to practically anyone now on a central goverment operated scheme. Siper quick, super easy. A huge thankyou owed to our gracious hosts! Had my first shot yesterday and all in maybe it took one hour from start to finish. This is available to B211 holders as well, using their passport number where it asks for a KTP number. This is an incredible relief as I have been smashing my head against brick walls from Mengwi to the Bukit in vain for some time now. You just need to download the BIMA app for the BaliMed hospital and without even setting up an account or loging in youll see a big red button including the word covid in its description (just below the green login button). + Hit the long red button below the login section and follow the steps (in Indonesian): + Select your demographic in my case (considerably) over 18 years + There is another pull down menu but I forget what its for. Might be vaccination date -same day, tomorrow were on offer. + Enter your name and age, tel number + Put your KTP or passport number in the KTP field + For domicile I put Bali to be on the safe side + Hit Go This seems to be enough though there is the option to enter further details too. I didnt get instant feedback via email or text but theres a message icon at the top right of the app. Some hours later this seemed to show my application along with many others. In my case I was able to select and get same day in that I turned up around noon to find my name on the system and all good. I cant take credit for discovering this. Someone posted it on the "children's" forums somewhere inbetween; lost my dog again and who makes the best avacado toast.. Cheers

Just about to post something similar, a lot of B211 holders running around in a mad panic thinking they need it to extend your visa. You don't it got changed the other day, got mrs to call imigrasi so you do have a choice if you want it or not. This can obviously change so check it for yourself if you're reading this long after I posted it. I have a friend on a kitas he got his mrs to call also it is not required to extend your visa at time of writing. Seems to be much confusion about this. Though life may well become a pain in the arse without it. Bali Med is the only valid lead for getting the vaccine no NIK atm but there is another way, a paid program that will get you in the digital database. Same deal, I didn't write this guide, but very helpful IMO the best way if you can deal with getting sinopharm vaccine. The registration seems to get full like Speed ID so if it says it's closed just try again the next day. Klinik Utama Vidyan Medika has opened registrations for Vaksinasi Gotong Royong (VGR). VGR is an alternative to the free vaccination program, where participants bear the overall cost of the vaccination (613.800 Rp for two doses). VGR is open to all foreigners, including those without a NIK (such as B211 visa holders). VGR is currently the only way for those to get the official digital vaccination certificate in PeduliLindungi. Everyone can now register with the clinic here: https://bit.ly/Registration_VGR3 VGR uses the Sinopharm(this is not sinovac this is one that's been used in Jakarta a lot already) vaccine. The first vaccine shot is expected to be given around October 13, and the second vaccine shot around November 3. Beware this is a very rough estimate based only on the time it took for the previous VGR round at this clinic (it has not been confirmed by the clinic). The statement letter that needs to be uploaded at the end of the form can be found below. Here are instructions for filling it out: - Print the letter. - Write your name/phone number, leave the business details blank and fill in the table. - Get a 10.000 Rp materai stamp. This can be bought in post offices and many stores such as Indomaret, Alfamart... - Write the current date beside "Gianyar", stick the stamp below, sign upon it and write your name in the parenthesis. - Scan or take a photo of the letter and upload it at the end of the registration form. Yes I realise sinopharm is not valid in the west but until I can realistically get back there I don't care can always get another vaccine later if need be. In the immediate future just Jakarta maybe on the cards and that is not before I can walk properly again. Cheers for taking the time to reply. I really do appreicate it and it's a glimmer of hope which is good as I am not totally out of the woods yet. My second dose is immovably scheduled for mid December so I won't currently meet the 2 shot requirement in time. At least I now know I can buy the sino if push comes to shove. Good luck with the knee damage healing. I really do appreciate the difficulty it presents. Buggered one of my knees about 10 years ago and took maybe 5 years in my case to recover (mostly) fully. Likewise the misses did in her meniscus a few years back and like you she found car journeys inteolerably painful and it too seemed to set her recovery back each time.

You have just saved me a trip to immigration, now that my vaccine haze is abating, to ask the very same question regards extensions as I'd only just noticed the wording that included extensions and it seemed rather on the unreasonable side. Catch-22 at the very least if not outright entrapment though I recognise its a case of uninteded consequnces rather than malice. Do you perhaps know which office responded? Jimbaran, Denpasar or I believe (but have never seen) Singaraja. I have had differing replies from the different offices on occasion. Just to confirm though you are only referring to extensions and not to the inevitable next B211 visa application which is handled by jakarta directly and still appears to require that all applicants be double vaccinated. This is the origin of my recent headless chicken week as I have about 1 1/2 months to go and Indonesia is currently on the 'red list' back home.. Interestingly, when they booted us out of Udayana in the Bukit, after our 5am start from Ubud, on the grounds that B211 holders are inelgible and desipte there being 5 people in total eagerly awaiting vaccination we asked about the VGR program and were told it was was closed to B211 holders as well -sigh- Good news that it actually isnt! Updating as promised. Visa extended no vaccine. As much as all the pro vaxers would like to deceive you in to getting the vaccine (yes this has absolutely been my experience, other than 1 single person they all act like it's mandatory), the fact is right now at time of posting you do not need to be vaccinated to extend kitas or social visa, my agent has done plenty and said another agent she talks to said the same. Just to clarify yes I did get the vaccine, if I had a choice I would not of it has more to do with the countries I want to go to and I won't be able to get back in to Indonesia without it. When my visa submitted I was not yet vaccinated and did not supply any type of documentation to say I was. I decided to get Sinovac in the end. Unfortunately due to the countries I want to go to I really didn't have much choice and had to get it or my life will be very difficult, my personal opinion is the Texas approach is the way to go. People should be able to choose if they want it or not. But hey nobody asked my opinion you want facts here they are. Anyway to everyone running around trying to get jabbed for onshore extensions, it's not a requirement at present. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Its really helpful to know and takes a bit of pressure off in case I can't get a second shot organised in time. Should be submitting my application at the beginning of November.
