I check the graphs in the Bali Covid group every day. Hopefully the case numbers have peaked and we can start to see a fall again. I believe the vaccination rates in Bali, at least for the first shot, is over 70%. Hopefully, we can start to see some kind of normality. 70 % but with Sinovac? Even China seems to order Pfizer now with Delta

If I am not wrong it was mainly AZ that was used in Bali ? I remember reading some time ago that a high number of.AZ vaccines were send from Java, where there was reluctance to use it due to religious raisons ? The Miss had AZ for both vaccines

I think in the early days Sinovac was being given, especially to medical personnel. When they started passing away even after having Sinovac, became more popular. I have heard Sinovac being given to younger children now. The efficacy is lower, but still possibly better than nothing. China are having new outbreaks again. I know of more people getting the virus now in Bali. Some don't want to get tested. So the reported numbers are probably much higher. Sadly more reports of people passing away in Bali, not close friends but family members of friends. At least with people building resistance either through vaccination or antibodies, we should be getting to some kind of herd immunity. I hope when restrictions get lifted the government doesn't allow travel to Bali for at least a few more months.

yep early days was all sino vac cause china gave us heaps for free.....Medical staff fully vac with it still dropping off the perch so they switched it to AZ..
