Sure, this vaccine push is mostly for the benefit of public health but if you don't understand the ulterior motive of massive profit potential underneath this whole pandemic, then you don't get how society works.
I guarantee if Pfizer or any of these vax companies had to pay out of their own pocket to produce these life-saving vaccines for the benefit of public health, then there would be no vaccine. I guarantee you if the Indonesian government had to pay for everyone's quarantine upon arrival, then quarantine wouldn't even exist
We live in a fucked up world and those in charge will always take advantage of a situation to help them conveniently line their pockets.
You lot always bang on about the hidden profiteers from all this. Be they pharma, PPE producers or whoever but you all seem to have forgotten the billions and billions (if not trillions) that have been lost by airlines, tourism, cruise-lines, social costs in billions for repayment for lost work, etc etc I could go on and on. How does this compare with the few billions that have been made on the vaccines? Doesn't even scratch the surface.
Line their pockets!!! I can't even laugh about that - PM Johnson can't even go to a drink party in his own house without the UK tearing him apart so how do you suspect he's managed to "line his pockets" with our stolen money?
