Can really understand your frustration. My handicap is being back in the US, am depending upon Jackie Pomeroy on Facebook for my information which despite the high statistics seems to report the ready availability of vaccine. Certainly things from afar are never quite the same as being there in the middle of it all, but suggest you check google for FDA approval of ivermectin.

The drug itself I believe has FDA approval. It can be prescribed by doctors in the US. In some countries it is not available at all and in some countries it can be bought over the counter. Not everyone can or wants to take the vaccine, so it would seem a good way to get herd immunity up to 80% or greater which I believe it needs to be. I could also see it as a good preventative measure, like if you are going into a high risk situation, airline flight or hotel quarantine. It is also safe for kids, where vaccine remains untested. While vaccine rates are high in the US, how about the rest of the world. While the virus is still spreading in other countries, then everywhere remains at risk, and there is also the risk of even more deadly variants, like what happened in India. There are an increasing number of studies showing the effectiveness of the drug. The problem is that it faces from getting government approvals include: - it is cheap to produce. There are no patents restricting production. - the Emergency Use Authorization for vaccines would need to be stopped as they can only be used if no other alternative is available https://www.biznews.com/thought-leaders/2021/05/12/mailbox-ivermectin - it is difficult to get funding for studies/trials for drugs that are already on the market and no profit can be made from their sale - governments have chosen the vaccine route and I doubt they change their course of action. By approving an alternative drug, then it would obviously upset the drug companies who may use their power to control supply of vaccines. Even with vaccines you can get the virus and still spread it, so they are not the final solution to end the pandemic, even though they have probably helped in some parts of the world.

Why are you planning to take your second jab while refuting it’s ability to protect you from Covid 19 ? And secondly do you have confidence in those chains to hold you down when the next full moon appears?

It seems rather premature to be asserting what is best and most efficient while data collection is so frail. We are a long way from having accurate recording of infections, illnesses, deaths and recovery. Throw in the vested interests of vaccine and treatment manufacturers eager to have their productions as best. I think we are still in a dark room with an elephant. One hand reaches out, holds the tail and says, "It is long and thin." Another touches a tusk and says, "It is hard and sharp."
