i have been surfing here since the late 90s so a little familiar with roads during more “normal” times. I also have motorcycle and house car/driver if needed. This dude drives way crazier than me and gets you there. I rather sit in traffic than drive motorcycle and in no hurry so should be cool.
What about insurance? Looks like I cannot get decent coverage for 10 plus year old car. Staff is telling me most do not have insurance at all and that getting insurance to cover something can be a real hassle.
Talking to Alliance now. They say no comprehension, but can cover total loss and third party coverage.
lol, thinking I might as well self insure.
Comp coverage on an older vehicles is challenging as getting parts can be a real pain. As for your staff's comment about insurance coverage hassles, I beg to differ. We had a comp claim and it was absolutely no issue getting it paid by ACA (affiliated with BCA), even though we were in the process of switching to another insurer.
I'd consider getting the third party coverage - at least that way you don't need to get involved in the inevitable arguments over liability, quantum of damages, etc. Simply direct the 'aggrieved' party to your insurer and forget about it.
