STLD - Where do I report and can I?

Having read regarding the the vaccination programme in Sanur it mentions that all "non residents" who now live in Sanur must self report and get STLD certificate. I am unable to find information regarding this. I can report to the police and get an ASLI certificate but I know nothing of the STLD. Also although I have stayed in Bali for long periods at a time it is on a social visa B211 and not a KITAS, can I still report for STLD and should I? Any advice would be welcome :-)

All persons staying in Bali need to register with their local banjar and the police. Go see the Klien Dinas of your Banjar where you reside (the number two guy who handles all the admin stuff for the banjar), and he will help you get a cert of domisili.. No need to have a Kitas for this.

Thanks Mark, I have reported to the Banjar but have never been given a certificate. I will reapproach them :-)

Typically you need to get a self-reporting cert from the local police station first (surat tanda melaporkan), and then signatures of the banjar and often the kepala desa as well on the Surat Domisili. In any case, your banjar can guide you. Can be a bit of running around, but it's no big deal. Good luck.

We were away this week when vaccinations were given for our area in Jimbaran. If we present when second vaccinations are being done might we then get the vaccination as our first vaccination? Is there any difference in the actual vaccines first and second?

Thanks Mark, The Banjar is doing ID cards for us so that's good - only 100k each. They also "recommended" to get a 300k letter from Banjar - The letter seems to be a way for the Banjar to get a little money without asking for a donation directly :) . All good.

Most of the people I know have been a little unwell, very tired and sore the next day but fine two days post vaccine. I look forward to a time us mortals on visa's can buy, beg or steal a vaccine (not not the Chinese one).

I thought we had missed out on the first round but then wife heard that the Ayana resort was set up for vaccinating. We went there yesterday at 7 am and understood they were opening at 8am. We were about 7th in a car queue but as we waited hundreds arrived by motorcycle so once the entrance was opened they were better placed to get to the car park..The streaming was pretty well managed with chairs in the undercover car park and then people moved through in batches. A certain edginess that made me feel I would hate to be on a sinking ship. .Plenty of staff to direct people and all things considered it went pretty well. All up about 3 hours including the pre opening wait. Wife's daughter and sister went this morning and it seems there were even more people it being a Saturday. Someone had suggested taking your own pen which was a good idea. Needed photocopy of the KITAP and residential card and asked to show the original No real soreness in the arm and a slight temperature in the evening but today fine. Now wait to go through it all again at the end of the month.
