No comparison its like comparing Bali to FijiThere are far more Elvis freaks than Bowie ones. how many worldwide Elvis events and impersonators are thereElvis is the highest selling single artist of all time. There is something to see with Elvis like Graceland, recording studios, where he grew up etc etc.So are people going to come just to see an island that his ashes were scattered on?
Its obviously very unlikely that Bowie will attract 600,000 visitors a year to Bali. Elvis Presley was just an example (the most popular). There are plenty of other celebrities who are dead and still get visitors. If they make some kind of memorial place for Bowie there is in my opinion a possibility that this will attract graveyard tourism.

Adam your rare pearls of wisdom are such clever and intelligent moments of blinding brilliance. Not anything like all those stupid cheese comments at all.
Talking of cheese what was good and what was ordinary?

While he was alive Graceland was just where a rock and roller lived (and not all that popular at that time, leastwise in the US).As to Elvis being the "highest selling single artist of all time" in the day of Google you have to be careful with such statements: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_singles

Talking of cheese what was good and what was ordinary?
Your wonderful supply of the blessed cheese is still largely intact and the couple I've enjoyed were just wonderful. You have to understand that here "ordinary" is no cheese at all.

Blacky's ashes at Senia may be a big draw to your crowd but I'm guessing that might have a limited attraction for the rest of the world?Oh and I rather liked his early music too.
Blacky's music was shocking, what are you smoking up there in the cave?
