Current build prices in Jimbaran area

I know there are lots of threads re. building cost but not recently When we last built it was around 2,500,000rp per m2 for a standard Kost style build up in Bukit We are looking at a small parcel of land ( 3are) in Jimbaran , specifically Taman Griya and wondering what the current build price is these days. Depends on what kind of style house you are looking for and the quality of materials you are building. If you want an above-average/very nice villa you are looking at around 6jt - 8jt/m2

In that case, you can get something much cheaper. If you need a solid architect or contractor, I can recommend you a good team.

Given that you're just building something simple, I'm sure any architect will suffice. the guy I have is not really one for those on a budget but I'm happy to give you his contact info if you'd like

The land prices have become a little more realistic and the Balinese are starting to learn that they actually have to drop their price. In the area we are looking at which is around Taman Griya , goa gong the prices were 400-500 juta per 100m2 some 18 months ago. The keen ones are now around 250-300Juta per 100m2. A lot of balinese are struggling with the concept that land may be worth less than what they may have paid for it but still do not accept the current market situation.

Jackstraw , he probably can't be any worse than the last guy we used when we built a kost near Bukit Hijau. I still need more toilet paper than normal because of the new hole he reamed...

Thanks for that. You are correct , they look like high end architect/builders. Makes me wonder what YOU have planned to build then :) Cheers Ken
