Border lock - flights out?

Personally not looking to go back anytime soon but I know some of you were, had jobs etc to return to. With the border closing up for incoming passengers for 2 weeks (and I will speculate it will be extended to longer), do you guys think the airlines would fly and come back with an empty aircraft? Or they flights will be delayed/postponed?

I suspect that some (but probably not all, eg. Emirates, Qatar Airways) could be postponed unless they are also doing cargo runs to Indonesia. From 1-14 January only Indonesians and Kitas/Kitap holders are allowed in the country and I agree with you, this could easily be extended.

When I was recently stuck in Perth those two airlines were the only ones still consistently flying, used to pass over my house as each night as I dreamt of returning to bali.
