What's the plans of everyone who entered on the business or social visa?

So I know some of you entered around when I did on social/business visa, what's everyone's plans when they end? Especially those coming from AUS with a $3000 quarantine bill ahead I'm not really rushing back. But funds are limited. Currently it's possible to stay on land and extend (and yes this changes all the time check it out don't just rely on my word), my agent is quoting 5 million but I've seen as low as 3.5 million. I'm actually unsure what I will do, but I am prepared to wait quite some time to see if that $3000 entry goes away. Looking forward to everyone's ideas/perspective.

What do you want to do? If you like living on Bali, why not try to find some online work to support yourself. When I read first your post I was thinking maybe getting the vaccine would make it so you don't have to quarantine, but almost straight away I saw an article about how you would still need to quarantine even if you got the vaccine, since there was still a chance of spreading the virus.

Actually very close to my plan, I did not know to stay past the 6 months would be a viable option so just comparing notes (well trying to) with a few others to see what everyone else is doing. I think for at least the foreseeable future it's going to cost $3000 to enter Australia, they've been incredibly strict so far.

I wonder what the outcome would b if you told them that you didn’t have the cash up front to pay it as you’re released from quarantine. I have to go back in February because of work commitments and that’s going to be my answer when confronted with a pay up.

I think NSW have said that less than 10% of the people in quarantine have paid so far. So you must be able to pay it off. I now have tickets for April so fingers crossed

I have read people on low income get the option to pay it off, I guess if that is your situation shouldn't be an issue, I'd imagine if you've run out of dosh or don't just have $3000 laying around. I have also noticed a few states seem to have dropped it to $2500 however not sure which ones yet, just caught tail end of story on the news.

I was told the other day to show your bank account with near zero cash..the cost of isolation is then waived...people have been doing this and setting up a seperate account with a visa then mailing it home and then acessing the cash
