So little old me whizzed ahead and ordered a t shirt off Tokopedia and as it's in indo I forgot to check when seller was last online. Turns out if was back in August. Gah I'd never make that mistake in ebay.
Anyway, if I paid in cash at Indomaret what's the deal with refunding/reversing / cancelling? Says something like after a day and some hours it will auto cancel, but does the money bounce back to where? Happy to make same purchase off another seller. There is an ovo account linked to the tokopedia that is active.
I still haven't worked out how to use an OVO account but with a previously cancelled order because no stock, the money is kept by Tokopedia against future purchases. It did not go back to my bank account. It took me a bit of time to work out how the funds became available. I now check directly with a supplier to ensure they have the stock advertised as quite a few occasions have found this a problem which Tokopedia needs to address; perhaps by suspending a shop account for a set period where goods out of stock are still advertised.
Despite that I have generally found the Tokopedia system has worked well. And still amazed that goods can come by air from Java to Bali and be delivered for just $4.
