Ear Specialist?

Over years of snorkeling I've often had my right ear blocked for a few days before clearing but latest incident has not cleared now for over a month. Can anyone recommend a specialist and some idea of appointment costs, please?

Dr Concita is supposed to be good. I believe she is at Siloam. There is a list here of doctors (THT). https://www.halodoc.com/cari-dokter/wilayah/bali/spesialis/spesialis-telinga-hidung-tenggorokan-tht I think my wife has scheduled appointments through that site and it was ok, or you could make an appointment with Siloam.

There is a [SIZE=6]dr. Conchita Palma Da Silva, Sp.THT-KL [/SIZE] on that list but it says she is 19 years old. How do you become a specialist at 19? And it does not suggest a lot of experience

ADUH! Going back to the list I see that some doctors are posted as being 4 years old so I have to assume the marking Dr. Conchita as 18 years old may not actually be the case. I take it then that despite the different spelling this is the same Dr Concita to whom you refer?

Does this give you any idea of the quality of care? Realizing you don’t need that comment when seeking care, but the best possible for a non-emergency is to hold out for S’pore. ,

18 years of experience... I had an ear infection earlier this year. It took a couple of visits to a local doctor here, but it did get better.

Yesterday my wife and I both went to Dr Conchita P da Silva at her Renon clinic. After reading reviews of Siloam hospital the Renon Clinic seemed a better option. And, as it turned out, it seems Siloam adds an extra 50,000Rrph for every item and would have added about 200,000 Rph to the total. Dr Conchita is very pleasant to deal with and has a sense of humour which I always find encouraging. My wife and I had both ears cleaned with modern equipment in a sterile clinic. Total cost for both of us was approx $92 Aus. Having checked contemporary prices in Australia this would have cost about $800 with only about 30% or less covered by Medicare. We would also have needed to go a general practitioner first for a referral so the total cost would have been a bit over $900. My right ear had been blocked after snorkeling and I made the classic mistake of using a cotton bud which compacted the ear wax. My left ear also had an impressive amount of sand from body surfing. Great to be able to hear properly again. So, thanks to Spicyayam for the referral.
