G'day mate, well just received confirmation that my extended leave application has been approved so now the next step is to get a flight booked and then the dreaded Covid test booked. Can i ask where you got yours done mate. Looking like I'll have to get it done Saturday the 21st November as I'm not back in Perth until the 20th and I want to book a flight for the 26th. If I arrive in Jakarta on the 26th that means I need the test done and dusted on the 21st to get all the paperwork in my hand a day or two later so I have a 7 day margin before I fly.
Tezza here is the website for the COVID-19 test you need
https://consumer.healius.com.au/ I have no idea where in the city you are I had mine done at the drive through clinic in Joondlaup, you don't actually get out of your car at all. I imagine the website will find a local one to you, as I have no idea where in this huge suburban sprawl we call Perth you stay. My result was back in 24 hours the girls working there said the result very rarely takes longer, but that site does say to allow 48 hours take note using this travellers site probably isn't a bad way to go as the result is emailed to you directly.
In regards to your timing, you might want to consider upon arrival in to Bali (assuming you will overnight in Jakarta same as me) you also need to produce a negative covit-19 test so factor that in to your days count.
I am told expect to show a return ticket (well a ticket to anywhere out of Indoneisa) at immigration, so I will book a Denpasar to Perth flight, open ended ticket with Air Asia as I don't see the point paying a tonne extra to fly back over Jakarta as it may not be required then, but that is merely a suggestion. Sharing good info that was given to with you basically :)
