since moving into this villa about a year ago, i have had flooding off my balcony (when it is windy), a snake (green18 inches long), Rats,bats,lizards,frogs and snails, plus the odd cat that shits on the lawn, and of course mozzies ,managed to kill off most of them, I should have leased an apartment, but its only the Rats that are ongoing, although i bought a couple of those electronic boxes and they for the most part seem to be working, i also lay down the sticky traps, with the peanut butter and they always catch them. so far no robberys as it is as tight as fort knox

I used to have those problems too, but now find that the cobras eating all the small critters really takes care of things. The exceptions are with the scorpions sneaking into the house with the beginning of the rainy season, and the millipedes crawling around on the chair cushion. One good bite on your ass and you can't sit down for at least 3 days.
