My agent contacted me about this today. There are still no flights available so I asked her to check with immigration what the rules will be if you can't fly to your country before the deadline.
I'm in the middle of my kitas application and was supposed to have left the country in May to finalise it in Sydney. But there is no way Australia is going to allow flights from bali in August. I would go to Singapore but I doubt if they will be allowing foreigners any time soon either. According to the rules of my visa I have to leave the country but I can't.
My guess is that immigrasi will say that i have to extend my visa which is OK even though it is already expired. I hope that is the case anyway.
Anybody have any other information?
Singapore is allowing non-residents to transit through its airport. Also, from what I have read, as long as people can get home, either directly or indirectly (eg via Singapore in your case), imigrasi won't grant a further extension. There are actually very few countries that remain totally shut down to commercial flights from abroad, so I imagine that few extensions will be granted.
