Why would anyone "abuse" you for this fairly innocuous post? Clearly you are used to a much harder group. White Sandy (Virgin) beach opened today for the first time but didn't go but may give it a shot tomorrow after I cut down some trees. The Gov has some weird calculation about numbers of people allowed on each beach dependent upon size(?) or something. They've also delegated some worthy Pecalan to count which should get fun. Also diving in Amed and Tulamben with lots of Hand San stations before you get into the water - wouldn't want dirty hands in the ocean. Apparently half the fish have all been eaten so that won't be much good for while.

It seems such a trivial preoccupation against the world wide hardship. Kind of expecting a reply along these lines. "YOU SELFISH BASTARD. PEOPLE ARE STARVING AND ALL YOU CAN THINK OF IS YOUR PRECIOUS, STUPID BEACH. WAKE UP TO YOURSELF." Something like that.

With millions of Covid cases now, millions in lockdown, millions losing employment, millions wondering where there next meal is coming from I hesitated about posting this but it may be of interest to some. Went to check out Jimbaran beach and found it open even though there were very few visitors. The people who I normally visit at their coconut Bintang stall were just setting up. Happily, their family all well. Leaving around 4pm, I may have been their only customer. Hopefully, after I left, others may have gone for the sunset and the row of cafes along the beach were also set up for meals. I wish them all good luck. But with rising cases it may just be a short time before everything is shut again. In the meantime, just nice to swim and walk along the beach.
