So often here we receive only these snippets without knowing any finality. It would be great if this community could be isolated as a unit then anticipate the severity of the threat for all of us.

Agreed. The rest is only noise.... And 335 positive out of 348 ? Need more details, about the sample population, how they were selected for the test, etc.....

These "quick tests" are infamous for their failure rate (some say %50). The area where this happened is (thankfully) fairly remote. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Im not sure its a "bunch of bullshit" ,I will avoid as much of possible ending up in a "dodgy" developing country hospital drowning in my own fluids ,having pipes shoved down my throat ,if they have a ventilator, no thank you !

It does seem like no one knows whats going on. https://seminyaktimes.com/re-testing-shows-different-results-in-bangli/ I keep hearing at least on the US news how important testing is. But I wonder how important it is if you don't show any symptoms? I suppose if you are positive then you should self-isolate. Probably not easy/possible in Bali. I remember seeing videos of people being dragged away in China. Imagine you had a false positive, got sent to a quarantine place with other sick people, and then pick up the virus there. China is now getting back to "normal" now, with schools opening and bars and restaurants opening, but what has actually changed in terms of the ability of the virus to spread or lack of any vaccination/cure.

Bangli is a relatively isolated part of Bali compared to the Southern regions. It wouldn't surprise me if they remained untouched from the previous spreading in Bali during December and January and are just now feeling the effects. Either way, the whole this is a bunch of bullshit and it's really nothing to worry about. Odds are upwards of 30% of the world has corona right now but since the numbers cannot ever show that, it would put the death rate well below 1%

What I meant was, of course, Corona is real it's a very serious danger for some people. But so is cancer, HIV, and a countless list of other diseases. No one would want to be in a dodgy developing country with any of those diseases, yet you don't see them closes the beaches because over 200,000 people died of Cancer last year. I know, cancer is not contagious but the point I'm trying to make is Covid-19 can definitely be dangerous for the unlucky few that get it but the amount that do get it and die is significantly lower than the media is currently portraying and we're all being locked up for no reason at all.
