I haven't used Paypal here. But if you are planning to pay Indonesian accounts via an Indonesian Paypal account it would be better to transfer IDR using Transferwise as their exchange rate for Aus $ to IDR I suspect would be much better than transferring Aus $ to Paypal and having them use their exchange rates whatever that might be.

I totally agree, however on this one off occasion the money is stuck in a Paypal account. I could of course bounce it via my Westpac. BTW did you catch my PM Harry, still looking for housing.
