Does anybody know the law (assuming from 2005) which prohibits burning plastic? Thanks a lot
Mark
Haven't heard of the law, but if it exists it is certainly one of the most abused laws in Indonesia. Burning sampah, including plastic, borders on an obsession in Bali, even in places where there exists reasonably priced rubbish collection services.

Younger right. I found it already. It’s from 2008, very clear.

I have a feeling there was a local law banning rubbish burning in Denpasar city. In country areas, I doubt anyone cares.
Rubbish removal is something like 20,000 a month where I live and my neighbors would rather burn their rubbish than pay that
