I wonder if Indonesian drugs laws are going too far when it is stopping people with prescription medicine.
It seems like this medicine is mentioned on the Australian smart traveler website, but I doubt everyone checks this:

Some medications, including drugs for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), are illegal in Indonesia. Harsh penalties can apply even if you have a prescription. Make sure your medication is legal in Indonesia.
A holiday to Bali for his wife's birthday has turned into a nightmare for an Australian veteran.
Michael Petersen is being detained in a police cell after failing to provide a doctor's letter when declaring his prescription medication to customs.
Mr Petersen takes Dexamphetamine to treat major fatigue and tiredness, but in Indonesia the drug is classified as a type 1 narcotic alongside cocaine and ice.
Under Indonesian law, any medication brought by tourists and containing controlled substances must be accompanied by official documentation.
Petersen's doctor has since sent the required information, however he may not be freed until Wednesday while prosecutors consider their options.
