Enquiry re visitor visa for Au I have an Indo girlfriend that I want to bring to Aus short term, sponsored. Can anyone advise if the process is easier done here by me, having her consent. Or for her to do over there.

Your girlfriend needs to apply for it in Indonesia. You can do it online now apparently: https://www.vfsglobal.com/Australia/Indonesia/english/news.html You should provide a supporting letter stating you will take care of her while in Australia. She should show also evidence of employment and any other ties in Indonesia, otherwise they will be worried she won't return.
