Driving to Bali on the 15th so was looking at buying a BBQ, I know ACE sell them but they are over priced.
I think some pool shop in Bali used to sell them? Any ideas?
Don't know the specifics of what you're seeking Fred, but will offer 2 options. I bought a gas grill in the US that fit comfortably in a standard sized suitcase and managed to get it through customs then bought an adapter at Ace that permitted connecting to an LPG tank. It has worked
fine after having a table made with a drawer to rest it on.
The other option is buying a used and thoroughly cleaned barrel and having a las listrik man cut it in half length wise and weld legs, hinges and smoke hole.
My experience is finding that nothing beats coconut husks for smoke flavor along with arang arang charcoal.
Both options are far less expensive than a ready made BBQ, and would think that the gas grill could possibly be purchased somewhere online In Indo.
