Pepito Supermarket

Just discovered today that our local Pepito supermarket in Ubud (Tebongkang) no longer sells wine and spirits. Seems strange given their markups - they must have been making a mint selling booze so I wonder if something else is going on? Anyone know anything about the other Pepito's down South or in Lovina? Still selling wine and spirits?

So they've delayed/blocked the new law about singles/couples are we now all gonna take another swing at booze?

Are also those overpriced spirits there actually real? Or is it a gamble like anything else over there? I tend to buy my spirits duty free and in Australia and just stick with the Bintangs when I visit.

Pepito has always been a "rip off" shop but I expect the product is real ,cant say about the storage conditions for wine .
