Is the Indo immigration making it harder to obtain a longer term visa for bules

A friend recently said to me she had heard immigration is making it much more difficult to obtain a long term visa for westerners especially Australians,,anyone heard this?

With all the ways bule have been misbehaving in Bali lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

I have not heard that or seen any evidence of that (yet). If they are going to crack down on anyone, it is probably people who have been living here for years on tourist/social visas. At least for spouse visas, the process is fairly easy and you can eventually get a lifetime visa.

I can second this. My spouse-sponsored Kitas and Kitap applications were a relative breeze and immigration was helpful and professional.

Yes it's true. Australians will have to sit an intelligence test before they are granted a visa. Estimates are only 0.001% will be able to pass Sorry.
