my experience. nightmare but with it, my dog loves England and even grew a new long coat for winter. however getting her here was not easy. she was meant to be excess luggage to Amsterdam KLM then roading it with ferry but DEFRA messed up the £600 paperwork on blood test so having smuggled her out of Bali to Jakarta with specialist had to stay in back of a pet shop for 28 days then plane to Amsterdam more then in end fly to London so expensive more problems there but she arrived to me by this stage don't give a dm about price stuck again in uk customers it took 43 days but on arrival bounded around my garden in the snow, worth all inch of paperwork. If you really love your dog do it but note after sending blood test etc check all paperwork is good mine said floopy rather than floppy as name that caused all the problems. If coming to uk take dog with you via KLM Amsterdam excess luggage then train train ferry to uk so much cheaper. Have all documents in order. Be warned my rescue dog cost me 5K as I messed up but worth every penny. anyone need help contact me because I went through every hoop sapphireb@mac.com Q who else has balinese dog in UK ?

6 years ago I had the pleasure of paying for my wifes (mine too, but not so much) Border Terrier to be transported to Bali - via London/KLM/Jakarta/Bali. Cost me about $5000 US and the dog lasted an entire year before the climate/bugs/diseases caused his demise. In the mean time I take every opportunity to warn all the dog lovers out there to just DON'T DO IT!!! Send me the money instead and I"ll make doggy comfortable, a glass of wine, some nice music and then OFF!.
