I just signed up with GlobalXtreme, before I was with Indihome which I could pay very conveniently online on Traveloka.
GlobalXtreme offers Cash at Office, Transfer and Auto-Debit from Card.
I can't use Auto-Debit because I always freeze my card when not in use so their auto-debit would not get through.
For transfer I got a BCA Virtual Account Name & Number from GlobalXtreme. I have used Transferwise to transfer money to normal bank accounts in Indonesia without a problem before but I think this would not work with these Virtual Account Names.
Am I right that I would have to have a BCA Account to transfer money to that Virtual Account?
If not how would I go about transfering it? Is there any online service or generic ATM that allows something like this? Indomaret/Alfamart?
I'll just go pay in cash every month but if there is a more convenient option I'd prefer that - so if anyone is paying money into a Virtual Account without having a local bank account I'd appreciate to find out how.
