It appears that the Department of Immigration isn't about to overlook any potential area of lost labor to foreigners in their constant pursuit of those about to perform a task that could possibly be performed instead by the the citizenry of Indonesia. A news source reported recently that a number of foreign prostitutes were apprehended as they were offering their services for sale to prospective customers when some of those customers were actually immigration officers undercover (no pun intended). Subsequent arrests were made and the foreign poachers promptly exported to their native origins.
Justice must be served by these vigilant guardians no matter the area of service!

On the theme of Immigration I'm informed that it's now better to use exclusively English when going for your replacements/extensions/new visas as if you use Indonesian the officials will attempt to entangle you in some stupid admission. For instance: "yes, I do work here but only as a carpenter/electrician for my friends villas". Beware the men in tight shirts!
