Hi all! 4 weeks in as a new resident to Bali :) absolutely LOVING it too.my questions - *Are there any post paid mobile phone plans that we can sign up for without KITAS? Currently using prepaid and finding that between using: google maps, social media and general internet use (while away from the house) we are chewing through our data.... *GPS do they exist?

I think you probably need a Kitas, but go and ask.

My mate uses a prepaid from XL. Cost him 60k for 2gb and lasts him a month - fecker is always on the damned thing for FB, Gpsing and Tinder (dirty, dirty - must try!).

im on Xl and I pay 25,000 a month for 600mb. I only use it for FB, WHatsapp and some general surfing on the internet although not much. If your not really downloading anything then that is more than enough.

If you are using Telkomsel (Simpati) then you dial *363# You then get a pop-up menu from where you can choose a data package. The price for the data package will be reduced from your standard pulsa.
