I take them to Warung Anda, the best Nasi Campur in Lovina. When we eat the grandfather looks at me and says something. I ask Dewi for a translation. They are very expensive, a reasonable Durian is about 15.000 rp and there is very little fruit in the spikey thing. Ok, it has a very special distinctive taste, but its so little for the money.. Still the Balinese eat them a lot. Why ? Maybe they consider it a luxury thing or something.. a status fruit.
