Mmm the "chants" 5 times per day (plus bonus during certain periods) are way more annoying IMO . Except in Bali.

In my experience your life with change to fit in with the environment here or you will be unhappy - I used to love sleeping until 9 on weekends - now everyday is a "weekend" and I always get up at 6am or earlier, funnily so do the chickens :). I would also warn from close proximity to a Moslem Mosque, their volume buttons all go to 12 at least.
